Nandkumar heads the Law Chambers of C. K. Nandakumar, which is a chamber of ten lawyers with focus areas of practice of arbitration – domestic and international, corporate, commercial laws and corporate offences. The practice includes matters relating to court intervention in arbitration, shareholder disputes and corporate insolvency. He is routinely briefed by other law firms to appear for them. He currently practices as counsel in arbitration, the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Karnataka, National Company Law Tribunal, City Civil Court, and other fora. He also accepts appointments as arbitrator.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, U. K. and co-ordinates the activities of the CIArb in Bangalore and Karnataka. He is a Certified Arbitrator, Indian Institute for Arbitration and Mediation. He is also a Member of Insol International. He was recently selected to the ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for Asia.

Nandkumar is a contributing editor of C. R. Dutta commentary on The Company Law, 2017 edition and is a Guest Faculty at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He is also routinely invited to various speaking engagements.

C. K. Nandakumar completed his B. A. LL. B (Hons.) from National Law School of India University, Bangalore, in 2001. He is among those few lawyers who have been exposed to both corporate and litigation practice.
