Rajiv Dutta is a Senior Counsel who appears in various matters both as Advocate-on-Record and also as arguing Counsel in the Supreme Court of India. He is involved in almost all major branches of Civil and Criminal law, including but not limited to Indirect Taxation, Banking, and Commercial Laws.

Rajiv has a vast experience of appearing before the Supreme Court of India, many High Courts, and Tribunals, including the Company Law Board, Competition Appellate Tribunal, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), National Green Tribunal (NGT), Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), etc.

He has also attended various Arbitration proceedings as a Counsel. He regularly appears as a Speaker at various Arbitration Conferences. Rajiv is registered with Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as an Associate Member. He has also been appointed as a Co-Arbitrator in Five ICC Arbitrations. His areas of interests include International Investments, Commercial Contracts, Construction/Real Estate, Joint Ventures, Aviation, Environment, Sports Law, Entertainment, Public and Private International Law related issues.

Rajiv has authored various articles and given many speeches. He was a speaker at the 2nd Annual LegalEra International Arbitration Law Summit (IALS 2015), on “Ways to Deal With Dispute Resolution Globally”. Few of his articles include inter alia “India: Make Mediation Mandatory in Civil Litigation” published in the International Bar Association Mediation Committee Newsletter of September, 2014; “Legal Profession in India: Past, Present and Future”, published in the Indian Bar Review, Vol.44 (3) 2017.
